At Sanlam South African Fashion Week, Johannesburg on Aug 28/29, eight of South Africa's top young designers faced off in

knock-out style battle rounds for the mad prize of 50,000 Rand, all-expenses paid trips to New York and Paris Fashion Weeks,

a scholarship for a textile course in London, and the ultimate prize of presenting a collection at SA Fashion Week in 2009!

Competitors represented the best and most recognized of young South African design talent. Strangelove beat out John Sithole

after despatching Guillotine, Mantsho, Ephymol, Miss Scarlet, Two Two, and Hermanna Rush. Check out the Press release.
